We are.....PENN STATE
It's our favorite time of year.....the start of college football! We are going to try to get Anthony into it too. Thank you to Michelle, Kendra, and Pinky for Anthony's first Nittany Lion.

This past week and weekend...
This past week was busy, unexpected things happened, and more visitors! Work has been work and it's just been really busy. I just can't wait until the end of my day to go pick up my little guy from daycare. That is the highlight of my day :-)
First off, poor Annabelle, had an allergic reaction to something outside on Wednesday. We don't know if she was bit or is allergic to something in the backyard, but her eye swelled up and she had welts all over her belly and legs. She was so itchy! I gave her a antihistamine to help and it seemed to work because the swelling went down, but around 3:30am on Thursday I woke up to her itching a lot. I took her in the bathroom and her other eye was almost swollen shut. So I took her to the vet in the morning and she ended up getting a steroid and antihistamine injections. She's doing great now, but just a lovely unexpected bill. Oh well, things happen.
I also went to Old Navy yesterday morning right at 9am and was one of the crazy people trying to buy jeans for $12 and they had kids jeans for $7. There was nothing for Anthony, so I got myself 2 pairs and Matt a pair (the limit was 3 per customer). I shopped for about about 10 minutes, waited in line for the fitting room for about 5-10 minutes, then spent a little over an hour in line to check out. It was worse than the day after Thanksgiving! I came home and ordered 2 pairs for Anthony online :-)

First veggie
Anthony tried his first veggie today....green beans! He didn't do too bad. You will see from the videos his reaction, but he didn't close his mouth and not let me keep putting it in. He only ate a little bit. Enjoy the videos!
Visit from Aunt Jessica and Uncle Jerry
Aunt Jessica and Uncle Jerry came down to visit this weekend. We all visited, went out to eat, shopped, and watch movies and the Olympics. Aunt Jessica bought him some really cute clothes from Gymboree. Anthony will probably wear that outfit for his 6 month pictures next month when we take him to the Picture People. Visit from Pappy and Grammy

Sick baby boy :-(
Anthony has his first cold :-( He's not running a fever, but he has a runny nose, sounds congested, and it having some discharge from his eyes. Poor little guy! We did the usual routine by putting him in his pajamas, feed him a little oatmeal and milk and then off to bed. He was sound asleep in my arms by 8:15pm. A little after 11pm tonight, we heard him on the monitor starting to fuss a little. Matt went up, wiped his nose, and he calmed right down. It might be a long night.
I don't feel too good myself. I woke up this morning with crusty stuff around my left eye and it felt dry all day. Now it still feels dry and it kind of red. I really hope it's not pink eye! grrrrrr!! My glands in my throat feel a little swollen too.
It's going to be an interesting weekend! I'm glad we don't have anything planned. We all need to get better before Grammy and Pappy Kitko come next weekend :-)
