The beginning of parenthood

I decided to start using this site to document Matt and I's experience on our journey through parenthood. My sister-in-law, Sara, has been posting blogs on here for quite a while and I really enjoy reading them and keeping up to date on everything going on since we live 8 hours away, so here goes!
Matt and I became parents on March 19, 2008 to a beautiful baby boy that we named Anthony Michael DeAngelo. He weighed 7lbs 5oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. He's so handsome!!

Since he arrived, my Dad and Joyce, Kristen and Brad (my sister and brother-in-law), and Fred and Cathy (Matt's parents) have been to Raleigh to meet him.


Next weekend, we will be making our first journey to Pennsylvania for Anthony's baptism that is going to be held at St. Francis on Sunday, May 4th. We can't wait for the rest of the family to meet him. I will post a new blog and pictures then.
